The founder of the company Markus Schönbächler was able to consolidate his craft after his engineering studies at Siemens as a software developer and project manager, before he was allowed to lead larger software development teams and departments (more than 40 software developers) as a consultant and line manager in different companies, and in combination to lead larger projects as project/program manager. In the larger projects, in which entire IT system landscapes had to be modernized or newly created, he always simultaneously performed the function of IT architect. He was able to further sharpen his understanding of the role of IT in a company by taking over the program management on the business side and, at that time, the product owner view. This role change also provided him with profound and practical insights with regard to business analysis and requirements engineering. The accumulated knowledge and experience in the areas of project management/line management, business analysis/requirements engineering and IT architecture complement and cross-fertilize each other. The need to share this knowledge and experience in combination with the attraction of entrepreneurship gave Markus Schönbächler the reason to found the company Adjust IT LLC.
